Job summary

Ferrara in Illinois is seeking a 2nd shift production worker to operate and maintain candy lines, perform changeovers, and assist packaging teams. You will ensure sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety while handling materials and finished goods.

Shift runs 2:30pm–10:30pm, with overtime required as business needs dictate. This role offers benefits and a path to contribute to iconic brands across the Ferrara portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience following GMPs in manufacturing.
• Ability to work overtime; shifts include 2:30pm-10:30pm.
• Must handle materials and packaging tasks.

Responsibilities

• Employee is responsible for handling materials, candy, and producing product.
• Must set up, change-over, and run lines and/or assist packaging employees.
• Responsible for sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety in their area.
• Position requires the ability to work overtime; may require varying start/end times and weekends.
• Work at different work stations as production needs require.
