Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a production worker for a day shift in Illinois to coat candy after deposition and curing, and perform general duties as needed. The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to pass a pallet jack and forklift certification test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic problem solving skills.
• Ability to pass certification test on pallet jack and fork lift.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review material paperwork and ensure correct materials are used.
• Setup and wash down of equipment and changeovers.
• Maintain materials and equipment with proper settings and throughput.
• Perform quality checks and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap.
• Keep work area organized and clean.
