Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a Machine Operator for a 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) to operate and monitor confectionery production lines. You will ensure product quality, maintain efficient processes, and abide by safety and sanitation standards. Overtime is required to meet peak demand.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prefer 1 year in food manufacturing, with strong English literacy and basic arithmetic skills. Shift differential may apply and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months of related experience or training, or equivalent.
• 1 year of food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Able to perform simple arithmetic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Load raw materials and adjust controls to regulate temperature and material flow.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention procedures.
• Assist with changeovers and support production scheduling.
