Project HOME is seeking a Receptionist to be the professional front-line contact for staff, residents, contractors, and guests at Ray Homes in Philadelphia. The role supports daily operations, building access, and a welcoming environment in a part-time evening schedule.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, with strong communication, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a constant front desk presence and verify access for staff, residents, guests, and deliveries.
• Greet visitors, answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage the visitor log.
• Conduct hourly rounds to monitor security and use cameras.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as typing, filing, copying, and deliveries.
• Facilitate room setups for community space meetings.
• Record shift summaries and share during shift changes.
• Address urgent situations using de-escalation and follow emergency procedures.
• Serve as dispatch/contact for outreach as applicable.
• Attend required meetings and trainings as needed.
