Amelia Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Amelia, VA seeks an Evening Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The role provides superior customer service and clerical support across departments while ensuring smooth mail and resident information handling.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, contributing to a team that values engagement and high quality care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiline telephone and paging system.
• Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate party.
• Greet and direct visitors, sign-in and manage entry.
• Distribute mail and coordinate express mail pickup/delivery.
• Report resident concerns to the department head.
• Maintain list of residents and staff extensions.
• Communicate with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and in-services as directed.
