Job summary

Amelia Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Amelia, VA, is hiring an Evening Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The role focuses on delivering superior customer service, directing calls, and supporting multiple departments with general clerical tasks.

Typical hours are Mon–Fri from 5:00p to 9:00p. The position requires professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to manage a busy front desk in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiline telephone and paging system.
• Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call and route the call to the appropriate party.
• Greets and directs all visitors to the facility, ensures that all visitors sign-in and refuse visitor’s entry to the facility if needed.
• Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services.
• Responsible for reporting all resident and Resident concerns to the appropriate department head.
