Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents and safety rules; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Reasoning: apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Some computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Handles confidential information including guest records with integrity.
• Responds to guest requests and complaints in a timely manner.
• Answers and routes calls; takes guest messages accurately.
• Manages cash drawer contents and transactions during shift.
• Maintains records including cash flows, registration and reservation cards.
• Provides information on hotel services and directions.
• Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed by GM.
• Provides wake-up call requests and logs pertinent guest information.
• Ensures front desk, lobby and common areas are clean and organized.
• Performs laundry functions as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
