Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of front desk experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in hotel management is a plus.
• Experience with hotel reservations software such as Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS.
• Understanding of travel planning websites like Booking and TripAdvisor.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-in and check-out tasks for guests.
• Manage online and phone reservations and room assignments.
• Explain payment methods and verify credit card data.
• Collect guest information and stay dates for registrations.
• Welcome guests and assign rooms upon arrival.
• Provide information on rooms, rates, and amenities.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to prepare rooms.
• Support VIP guests and event attendees with special services.
• Upsell hotel facilities and services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
