Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Marlborough is seeking a Front Desk Agent for the Marlborough-Evenings shift. You will greet guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, verify billing and process reservations with a focus on guest satisfaction.

This on-site, full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of guest service experience in hospitality. You will upsell rooms and amenities, know local attractions, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years prior guest service experience required preferably in a hospitality setting
• Excellent verbal communication skills needed
• Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment
• Maintains predictable and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
• Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests
• Assist guests by knowing hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation
• Sell through upselling rooms and amenities to maximize revenue
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies
• Maintain knowledge of property and departmental procedures
• Work as a team player in meeting guests' needs and supporting other departments
