Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Fort Washington is seeking a Front Desk / Customer Service Representative. You will be the first point of contact for customers, process registrations and sales, and assist with events and daily operations.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and the ability to work with children in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement as the school grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate level computer skills using Word, Excel and other software systems.
• Shallow Water Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required. Can be obtained through Goldfish Swim School after training is complete.
• Must be willing to train as a swim instructor.
• Ability to work with children and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
• Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques.
• Schedules and manages birthday/pool parties; supervises private party staff.
• Resolves customer concerns/complaints professionally.
• Greets parents and students at the front desk and checks them in.
• Maintains cleanliness of the front desk, Snack Shack, changing areas and restrooms.
• Checks voicemail and email and responds timely.
• Provides occasional administrative support for management, including the General Manager.
• Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems.
• Prepares twice daily student lesson schedules for instructors and management staff.
• Enforces safety rules and administers first aid when necessary.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned.
