Job summary

Residence Inn by Marriott-Wayne in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Guest Services Representative for evening shifts (3 PM–11 PM) with weekend/holiday availability. The role includes greeting guests, checking in/out, and handling reservations using the property management system.

A valid driver’s license is needed for shuttle duties and a strong customer-service mindset is essential. We offer competitive pay at $17.50/hr with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), paid time off,

Qualifications

Customer Service experience, in a hotel setting preferred.
Marriott experience is a plus.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
Must have valid drivers license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and complete check-in/check-out in the Property Management System, collecting and storing guest information.
Handle cash, credit card information and property goods.
Identify guest needs and provide information on hotel services and amenities to create a welcoming environment; respond to requests promptly.
Take reservations from callers and input all information into the system; update and cancel reservations as requested.
