Job summary

Wright Investments, Inc. is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office team for the 3pm-11pm shift. You will welcome guests, handle front desk duties, reservations, and inquiries, ensuring a professional and efficient experience from arrival to departure.

Ideal candidates multitask well, communicate effectively, and maintain privacy and accuracy while supporting Housekeeping and Maintenance in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk or customer service preferred.
• Excellent customer-service skills and professional communication (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and general questions.
• Answer phone calls professionally and direct as appropriate.
• Process guest payments and follow procedures for credit card authorization and payment.
• Review guest accounts and folios for accuracy.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Assist with service recovery and involve management when necessary.
• Communicate guest requests to Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments.
• Monitor guestroom availability and room status.
• Follow procedures for issuing guest room keys and maintaining privacy.
• Maintain an organized Front Desk area and document important guest information for the next shift.
• Assist with Marriott Bonvoy enrollment and member recognition.
