Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and ability to handle inquiries.
• Able to perform data entry and basic math.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Experience with general office equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative/clerical tasks: filing, copying, imaging, mail handling.
• Verify and complete required documents and reports.
• Provide accurate information to customers and determine pickup/delivery needs.
• Enter freight shipment data into system and generate bills as needed.
• Administer freight pickup processes and related tasks.
• Assist customers via phone, email, and fax with inquiries.
• Schedule freight delivery appointments as required.
• Review Hours-of-Service logs for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate with city operations and other departments to meet customer needs.
• Reconcile cash, deposits, and COD remittances as applicable.
• Comply with laws and company policies; perform other duties as needed.
