Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Warehousing or forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with hostler/yard duties preferred.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and open trailer doors.
• Flexibility to bend, twist, and push/pull freight.
• Work well independently or in a team.
• Prior dock/warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Verify freight documents match description.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, or rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and paperwork.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Follow laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as required.
