FedEx Freight in the United States offers a dock/warehouse role focused on moving freight between trailers. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, verify shipment paperwork, and secure loads while assisting customers and performing hostling duties as needed.

Strong safety, basic math, and communication skills are valued, with a starting hourly rate of $23.46 and a range up to $27.44. Hours and duties may vary by location and shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior warehousing or freight handling experience preferred.
• Hostler/yard duties experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers.
• Perform freight handling using motorized and manual equipment.
• Verify documentation matches freight description and weights.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps or rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies.
