Job summary

Framebridge is seeking an Art Manufacturing and Mechanical Production Technician for the Evening Shift in a hands-on production studio. You will operate CNC routers and a double miter saw, assemble frames, and ensure quality from raw materials to finished products.

You will support lean manufacturing, collaborate with nearby teams, and contribute to shipping when needed, all while maintaining safety and efficiency. Prior woodworking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Hands-on ability with delicate pieces and precise control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and adaptability to changing production needs.
• Familiarity with CNC routers, double miter saws, or similar machinery is preferred.
• Woodworking background is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers to cut frame products from acrylic and mat board with precision.
• Use nesting software to optimize cutting patterns and material usage.
• Operate a double miter saw to cut moulding to exact measurements.
• Apply stain and wood glue and underpin frames with a pneumatic underpinner.
• Collaborate with art cell teams to prioritize production tasks and meet orders.
• Perform final visual quality inspections for craftsmanship and specs.
• Assist in shipping to package and ship finished products as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
