Job summary

Framebridge is seeking an Art Manufacturing and Mechanical Production Technician for the Day shift to join our busy framing studio. You will operate CNC routers, set up a double miter saw, and assemble frames with precision to fulfill customer orders.

The role emphasizes lean processes, collaboration with art cell teams, and safety and quality. Prior woodworking experience is preferred; the base salary is discussed in the posting, with growth opportunities and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for delicate pieces.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment and collaborate with others.
• Prior woodworking experience is preferred; familiarity with CNC routers/different machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers to cut picture frame products from acrylic and mat board.
• Use nesting software to optimize material usage and support lean manufacturing.
• Operate a double miter saw to cut moulding to exact measurements.
• Apply stain and wood glue prior to underpinning frames using a pneumatic underpinner.
• Collaborate with art cell teams to prioritize production and meet orders.
• Conduct final visual quality inspections on frames for craftsmanship.
