Framebridge in Henderson, NV is seeking an Art Mechanical Technician for our evening shift. You will operate CNC routers to cut frame components from acrylic and mat board, use a double miter saw, apply stain and wood glue, and collaborate with the art cell to meet customer orders with precision.

Qualifications

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to changing production demands.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment and collaborative teamwork.
• Prior woodworking experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC routers, double miter saws, or similar machinery preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills preferred.
• Familiarity with picture framing or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers to cut frame components from acrylic and mat board.
• Use nesting software to plan cutting patterns and maximize material usage.
• Operate a double miter saw to cut moulding to exact measurements.
• Apply stain and wood glue in preparation for underpinning frames.
• Collaborate with nearby teams in the art cell and prioritize tasks to meet orders.
• Perform final quality inspections on frames to ensure craftsmanship and specs.
• Assist in shipping to package and ship finished products when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and proper storage of materials and tools.
