Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Foundry Shift Supervisor for the Pleasant Hill, MO facility to oversee the evening shift (5pm–3am) on a fast-paced castings line. You will lead a team of about 20, develop production schedules, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in foundry/casting (permanent mold) with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Experience scheduling, planning, and coordinating production targets.
• Strong training skills to mentor team members.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a diverse team of approx. 20, ensuring the smooth operation of the foundry during the evening shift.
• Develop and implement production schedules, coordinating resources and manpower to meet production targets.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Monitor and report on production performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Handle work requests, coordinating with other departments and stakeholders as necessary.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
• Address any issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
• Drive the continuous improvement of our processes and systems, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
