Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Experience with mold making.
• Experience with melting and pouring operations.
• Knowledge of finish room functions.
• Ability to quickly learn processes and lead with minimal training.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
• Safety rules and regulations knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support daily foundry operations across core making, mold making, sand testing, melting, pouring, shakeout, and finishing.
• Prepare molten metal, adjust chemistry and temperature, and safely perform pouring operations.
• Inspect, repair, and finish castings to quality standards.
• Coordinate department workflow and production activities.
• Lead and supervise team members in the absence of the Foundry Supervisor.
• Assist with production planning and scheduling.
• Promote a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
