Job summary

United Rolls Inc. in Canton, OH seeks a Foundry Supervisor to lead night-shift operations across melting, casting and pouring processes. You will oversee hourly operators, troubleshoot bottlenecks, ensure safety, quality and productivity, and report shift performance.

The role requires 3–5+ years in foundry or heavy manufacturing, supervisory experience, metallurgy knowledge, blueprints, and lean practices. You will maintain logs, enforce SOPs, and train team members on equipment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on foundry or heavy manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, high-heat, and loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage hourly foundry operators on night shift.
• Lead pre-shift safety talks and assign casting/furnace tasks.
• Monitor induction/furnace operations and adjust workflows to meet specs and quotas.
• Enforce PPE, OSHA regulations, and 5S housekeeping on the floor.
• Onboard and train new operators and cross-train team members.
