Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions in Cold Spring, MN is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead sand molding and pouring operations on the production floor. You will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while coaching a team to meet delivery goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience, strong foundry knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent foundry education and experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in a foundry.
• Strong knowledge of foundry operations, safety regulations and production processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with proven leadership.
• Experience with lean, 5S, TPM and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds; 70% production floor time.

Responsibilities

• Lead molding, pouring, and related foundry operations.
• Address safety concerns and promote a safe environment.
• Monitor production performance and quality metrics.
• Conduct evaluations and coach employees.
• Lead 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement programs.
• Manage inventory and coordinate material shipments.
• Support daily production meetings and maintenance activities.
