Forward Air Corporation is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, stage, and move freight within a dock/warehouse environment. The role requires forklift certification and 3+ years of dock experience, operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other MHE with attention to safety and documentation integrity.

The position offers a Monday–Thursday 1:30 PM–9 PM schedule, with compensation of $20.58 per hour.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid forklift certification/licensure required.
• 3+ years of dock or warehouse experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, to understand safety and operational instructions.
• Ability to recognize numbers, labels, barcodes, and freight markings accurately and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload freight using sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other MHE.
• Move, stage, sort, and position freight between dock doors and designated areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping and delivery.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading following safety procedures.
• Label, scan, and track freight with handheld devices to ensure documentation integrity.
• Maintain a safe, clean dock environment and follow PPE standards.
• Support dock productivity and overall operational goals.
• Work schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
