Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Rock Island, IL facility. You will safely move goods in a busy industrial environment, scan inventory, and prepare shipments using shrink wrap and other equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of forklift experience, plus basic computer skills and ability to read detailed instructions. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1+ years operating mobile equipment or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer skills: typing, printing, data entry.
• Able to apply math (add/subtract/multiply/divide) to daily tasks.
• Ability to read, follow, and complete detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, lift trucks, hoists, or similar equipment in a high-traffic facility.
• Use electronic scanning on the forklift to track inventory and locations.
• Complete pre-operation inspections and report equipment faults.
• Prepare shipments, consolidate pallets, and operate shrink wrap as needed.
• Move products throughout the facility, including loading/unloading trailers.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
