Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Forklift Operator I in Rockford, IL. This role focuses on the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products for shipping and receiving needs.

You will use lift trucks and scanners, complete paperwork, and support inventory processes daily. Qualifications include at least two years of forklift experience or licensing ability, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Two years of forklift operating experience required.
• Able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background and drug screen required.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution (forklifts, clamp, picker).
• Load, unload and store products and materials.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks.
• Maintain readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
