Job summary

West Liberty Foods is seeking a Dock Material Handler (Stand Up) for the 2nd shift in Bolingbrook, IL. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks to move products and materials and requires pre‑op inspections, scanning, and accurate documentation.

The position requires at least 1 year of related experience, a minimum age of 18, and the ability to obtain certification for equipment operation. HS diploma preferred, overtime and weekend availability expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math.
• Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Must have good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate a powered industrial truck and forklift safely.
• Perform pre-operational inspections of the equipment.
• Operate a scanner and complete the required transaction process.
• Pick both fresh and frozen products.
• Load and unload trucks and complete required documentation.
• Maintain good housekeeping and assist with cooler/freezer operations.
• Repair and sort pallets as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
