ITW Shakeproof is seeking a Sort Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Elgin, IL. You will use RF scanners to pick and verify inventory, print and apply shipping labels, and move products with a forklift while maintaining FIFO accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with strong safety and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate safely.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Compares product IDs and counts against daily pull sheets.
• Uses RF scanners and warehouse systems to pick and track inventory.
• Prints labels and applies shipping labels on cartons.
• Records shortages and assembles orders on pallets.
• Operates forklift to move and store cartons.
• Verifies shipments using handheld scanners and FIFO method.
• Follows safety and quality rules; performs other duties as assigned.
