Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a part-time Food Service Associate to support meal preparation and tray line operations. The role involves delivering meals to nursing units, assembling nourishments, and maintaining clean work areas with weekend availability.

The position requires practice with sanitation standards (HACCP) and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Training is provided; schedule largely 4pm-8pm with some flexibility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare service lines for meal service and serve customers.
• Prepare patient trays and assemble trays as assigned.
• Deliver routine food orders to nursing units and food carts.
• Assemble patient nourishments as ordered.
• Requisition and store necessary supplies.
• Clean and maintain areas as assigned.
• Operate compactor and collect trash as needed.
• Assist in the dishroom.
