Job summary

Fredericka Manor Retirement Community, part of Front Porch Communities and Services, is hiring a Food Server for a part-time shift from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with weekend availability.

Pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, and duties include greeting residents, serving meals, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The role requires a Food Handlers’ certification and at least some high school education, with 1+ years of related food service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department.
• Some High School Education.
• 1+ years of related Food Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality Customer Service to residents, families, co-workers and vendors to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepares tables, napkins and utensils, refills condiments and performs prep tasks.
• Direct guests to tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist in drink selection and inform cooks of guest needs.
• Maintain dining experience, deliver items, fulfill guest needs, replenish utensils and glasses.
• Follow department safety standards and cleanliness procedures.
