Job summary

Front Porch in California is seeking a part-time Food Service Server to join Canterbury Woods Retirement Community. The PM shift is 4pm-8pm with availability required for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

You will interact with residents and staff to provide a warm dining experience, prepare dining spaces, suggest menu items, and ensure guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, following safety standards, and assisting with events.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department.
• Some high school education is required.
• Bachelor's degree may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to residents, families, coworkers and vendors.
• Set tables, prepare dining areas and refill condiments as needed.
• Guide guests to tables, suggest menu items and assist with drink choices.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety/health guidelines in dining areas.
• Assist with special events and cover shifts as needed.
• Attend mandatory in-service meetings and follow policies.
