Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division in El Paso, TX is seeking a Fabrication Technician for the 2nd shift. The hourly rate is $23.92 plus a $1.00 shift differential, and the position is eligible for a variable pay plan. Shift: 4:00pm–12:45am.

You will fabricate parts from steel, aluminum and cast metals to blueprints, operate multiple machines, perform maintenance, and help ensure quality. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of metal fabrication experience are required; candidates within 50 miles

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 1 year of metal fabrication technician experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
• No relocation benefit; 50-mile radius geographic limitation applies.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate parts from steel, aluminum and cast metals per blueprints.
• Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machines including shear, Finn Power, Prima, Horizontal Press Brakes/Benders, and Trump Laser.
• Maintain progress and communicate concerns; identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure quality through measurements and visual inspections; identify nonconforming parts.
• Cross train and stand in for other functions as needed.
