Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Machine Operator - Copper Shop (1st Shift) to fabricate parts from steel, aluminum and cast metals, following blueprints and quality standards.

The role requires setup, operation, and preventive maintenance on multiple machines, adherence to safety and 5S, and effective teamwork; core hours 5am-3pm, $20/hour with eligibility for incentive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: machine certificate program completion.
• Experience or training in sheet metal fabrication and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts from steel, aluminum and cast metals to blueprints.
• Set up, operate and maintain multiple machines and perform 5S duties.
• Measure finished parts and inspect quality; identify nonconformities.
• Communicate issues to supervisors and assist with root-cause analysis.
• Cross-train and stand in for other roles as needed.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of machinery daily.
