Job summary

Banner University Medical Center - Tucson environmental services seeks an EVS Associate for the evening shift. You will join a cohesive team to keep patient areas clean, sanitized and safe while supporting hospital operations.

The role emphasizes dusting, disinfecting and room turnover with attention to infection control and patient comfort. Prior cleaning experience is preferred; a strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for interacting with patients, staff and visitors.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing per policy.
• Empties hampers, trash, and medical waste; handles linens.
• Restocks supplies and maintains equipment; reports repairs as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe, infection-controlled environment for patients and staff.
