Zusammenfassung

The Huntington is seeking an on-call Event Setup Technician to support a wide range of gatherings, from meetings to large lectures. You will set up and tear down tables, chairs, lighting, and AV equipment, ensuring everything is ready and in good condition for events.

You will work flexible evening hours with a focus on safety, teamwork, and a welcoming approach for diverse audiences. Prior event support experience and a valid California driver's license are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma preferred.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Able to read and interpret diagrams and instructions.

Aufgaben

• Set up and tear down event furniture, tables, chairs, AV, and other equipment.
• Ensure event furniture is clean, in good repair, and stored properly.
• Maintain inventory of in-house events furniture and equipment with repair/replacement recommendations.
• Proactively manage a setup/teardown schedule to maximize space turnover.
• Coordinate with Special Events Managers on scheduling for different venue setups.
• Run and distribute power and lighting for events; assist with AV setup.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment with the AV technician and track equipment locations.
• Perform light cleaning for events including dusting, restrooms, vacuums, and trash removal.
• Assist in moving boxes and furniture; perform light maintenance as needed.
