Job summary

The Huntington is seeking a Venue Operations Associate for Calderwood Pavilion. This role supports day-to-day venue operations, helps execute event plans, and maintains spaces during performances.

You will be the on-site contact for renters, coordinate setup and breakdown, and assist with safety and housekeeping tasks to ensure smooth productions. Essentially, you will train across Front of House positions and may serve as Event or House Manager, while upholding Huntington policies and

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ theatre experience required.
• Ability to respond positively under pressure and set priorities.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, execute, and supervise events and productions.
• Set up and breakdown of furniture, clean spaces, provide technical support.
• Act as on-site contact for renters and enforce building policies.
• Interface with renters, vendors and Huntington staff as facility representative.
• Assist with facility maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning.
• Provide safety training to internal and external crews.
• Open and close the facility as assigned.
• Train in Front of House roles and serve as Event or House Manager as needed.
