Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. This full-time Evening shift offers growth, teamwork, and a culture of safety across a large health system.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, administer evidence-based care, and collaborate with physicians to coordinate timely patient management. Strong communication and a commitment to learning are essential.

Qualifications

Active NJ Registered Nurse license in good standing.
BLS certification required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes for timely intervention.
Administer medications and treatments safely, guided by evidence-based practice.
Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
Educate patients and families clearly to support informed decision-making.
Document thoroughly in EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and transitions of care.
Engage in team-based care and pursue continuing education and professional growth.
