RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Jersey City Medical Center. This evening shift position offers opportunities to collaborate with a skilled team and deliver high‑quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Requirements include an active New Jersey RN license, BLS certification, and EPIC EMR experience. A BSN is strongly preferred, with accommodations for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes, intervening early as needed.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers for timely, well-coordinated care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately for next steps in care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to support smooth transitions of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment with shared accountability and growth opportunities.
