RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. This full-time Evening shift offers growth, teamwork, and a culture of safety across a large health system.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, administer evidence-based care, and collaborate with physicians to coordinate timely patient management. Strong communication and a commitment to learning are essential.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands on care grounded in strong clinical judgment

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience ideally emergency room nursing and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. In this role, you will work 11a-11:30p and every other weekend and rotating holidays. The work week is 36 hours per week.
