Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years experience with computerized data entry.
• 1–3 years customer service experience in a healthcare or related field.
• Healthcare, call center, business, financial or insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify patient identity and registration information; explain required documents.
• Collect patient financial responsibilities and explain releases and consent forms.
• Prepare ID bracelets and verify information before armband placement.
• Maintain knowledge of registration procedures and policies.
• Operate appropriate registration software and printers; use scheduling systems.
• Answer calls in a timely, customer-service oriented manner.
• Communicate professionally with nurses and physicians; maintain professionalism on site.
• Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing situations.
• Input patient data into the computer network per policy.
