Job summary

Mercury Systems seeks an assembler to join our manufacturing team in the United States. The role relies on reading assembly drawings and related paperwork to move parts through production, performing basic electronic assembly, and loading programs on computer systems.

You will work with calibration tools and ERP records, maintaining precise logs and interfacing with Engineers and the Program Manager. The candidate should be able to work under a microscope, tolerate overtime, and handle chemicals

Qualifications

• Typically requires one year of experience or less.
• Must be able to work under a microscope.
• Overtime availability as needed.
• Comfortable with exposure to chemicals such as acetone.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel).
• Good eye/hand coordination and a steady hand.
• Able to follow specs and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Use assembly drawings and paperwork to accompany parts through production flow.
• Follow written instructions to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble units.
• Perform basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies.
• Load programs on computer.
• Process parts through Asymtek equipment and high temp ovens.
• Set up and clean machinery daily.
• Process transactions on Oracle (ERP) system.
• Use calipers and computerized measurement scopes for measurements.
• Keep logs current and interface with Engineers and Program Manager.
