Job summary

Mercury Systems in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an entry-level assembler to support electronics assembly operations. You will read assembly drawings, use calipers, load programs into systems, and work with engineers and managers to ensure quality and accuracy.

The role involves microscope work, occasional overtime, exposure to chemicals, and routine documentation. A basic computer skillset and keen attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Typically requires one year of experience or less.
• Ability to work under a microscope as needed.
• Ability to work OT as needed.
• Comfortable with exposure to chemicals such as acetone.
• Must have good computer skills in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, and Excel.
• Must have good eye/hand coordination and a steady hand. Requires strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to follow specs/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Use assembly drawings and related paperwork to accompany parts through production flow.
• Use written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or reassemble units.
• Perform basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies.
• Load programs on computer.
• Process parts through equipment and high temp ovens.
• Set up and clean machinery daily.
• Process transactions on Oracle (ERP) system.
• Use calipers and measurement scopes for measurements.
• Keep all logs current (manual and electronic).
• Interface with Engineers and Program Manager.
