Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an entry-level electronics assembler in Phoenix. You will follow assembly drawings and written instructions to assemble, modify, or reassemble units, and load programs on computers.

Responsibilities include processing parts through equipment, using calipers for measurements, and maintaining logs. You should be comfortable with microscope work, have basic Microsoft Office skills, and be able to work OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires little to one year of experience.
• Ability to work under a microscope as needed.
• OT flexibility may be required.
• Comfortable with exposure to chemicals such as acetone.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
• Good eye/hand coordination and steady hand with strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to follow specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Use assembly drawings and related paperwork to accompany parts through production flow.
• Use written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or reassemble units.
• Perform basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies.
• Load programs on computer.
• Process parts through Asymtek equipment and high temp ovens.
• Set up and clean machinery daily.
• Process transactions on Oracle (ERP) system.
• Use calipers and computerized measurement scopes for measurements.
• Keep all manual and electronic logbooks current.
• Interface with Engineers and Program Manager.
