Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Senior Mechanical Assembler to perform production tasks on electronics and mechanical assemblies for aerospace and defense applications. Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience
• Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures
• Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet production and customer needs
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions
• Interpret job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics
• Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiatives on a daily basis
• Perform inspections to ensure assemblies meet IPC standards
• Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts
• Disassemble and re-assemble, modify, rework assemblies per specifications
