Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an assembler to support production flow using detailed assembly drawings and paperwork. You will assemble, modify, and rework units according to written instructions, perform electronic assembly, load programs, and operate specialized equipment.

You will interact with Engineers and the Program Manager, maintain logs, and ensure precise measurements with calipers and measurement scopes. A microscope may be required and proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, ability to follow specs/drawings, and precision-oriented work.
• Ability to work under a microscope as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Experience with ERP systems and measurement tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow assembly drawings and related paperwork to move parts through production flow.
• Assemble, modify, rework or reassemble units per written instructions.
• Perform basic electronic assembly on components or subassemblies.
• Load programs on computer.
• Process parts through Asymtek equipment and high temp ovens.
• Set up and clean machinery daily.
• Process transactions on Oracle (ERP) system.
• Use calipers and computerized measurement scopes for measurements.
• Keep all manual and electronic logbooks current.
• Interface with Engineers and Program Manager.
