Job summary

Mercury Systems in Torrance, CA is seeking an Intermediate Micro-Electronics Assembler for our Operations group. This on-site role offers hands-on work building electro-mechanical assemblies and ensuring quality through ISO9001/AS9100 standards.

The position requires 2-5 years experience, a solder certification (IPC J-STD-001), and proficiency with MS Office. You’ll contribute to production schedules, maintain logs, and support shipping and final inspections.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience
• Solder Certification to IPC J-STD-001
• High School Diploma/GED
• Familiarity with PC software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to multitask and to execute under pressure
• Good Communication skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability
• Eager and motivated to learn, work, and grow with Mercury

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of shipment preparations for electrical/mechanical products.
• Prepares completed Assemblies for Final inspections by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and routers.
• Prepares Products for shipment per Mil-Standard.
• Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards.
• Maintain logs, paperwork, and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
