Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a production assembler to follow assembly drawings and written instructions to assemble and modify electronic units. The role involves basic electronic assembly, loading programs, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining logs.

Collaboration with engineers and program managers is required to ensure quality and accuracy. The position requires attention to detail, ability to work with microscopes, and comfort with occasional overtime; familiarity with Oracle ERP

Qualifications

• Ability to work under a microscope as needed.
• Must have good eye/hand coordination and a steady hand.

Responsibilities

• Use assembly drawings and related paperwork to accompany parts through production flow.
• Assemble, modify, rework or reassemble units using written instructions.
• Perform basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies.
• Load programs on computer.
• Process parts through Asymtek equipment and high temp ovens.
• Set up and clean machinery daily.
• Process transactions on Oracle (ERP) system.
• Use calipers and computerized measurement scopes for measurements.
• Keep all logs current.
• Interface with Engineers and Program Manager.
