Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking an EHS Specialist to join the EHS Department in Irwindale, CA. This role supports an Incident and Injury Free culture and ensures compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across BA operations on a second shift (Noon–9:00pm).

The specialist will lead incident investigations, perform risk assessments, manage EHS programs (LOTO, NFPA 70E, Hazard Communication), and deliver training to associates and managers.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
• Familiar with Cal/OSHA, EPA, CALARP, CUPA.
• Experience managing EHS programs in manufacturing.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple investigations.
• DOT/FMCSA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident investigations from initial response through closure with evidence collection and interviews.
• Develop corrective actions and track closure to ensure effectiveness.
• Conduct hazard/risk assessments and EHS inspections to improve safety.
• Deliver EHS training to associates and supervisors as required.
• Coordinate environmental compliance programs (hazardous materials, waste, air, wastewater).
