Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an Emergency Services Care Assistant/Unit Secretary for the Emergency Department. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 7pm–3am shifts and every other weekend, reporting to the ED Manager to support nursing and medical staff in patient care.

Under RN supervision you will provide direct patient care and perform non-licensed procedures; you may assist with clerical, stocking, and housekeeping tasks as needed to ensure smooth ED operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA, Paramedic, EMT or ED Tech certification as listed.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the ED and Treatment Center nursing and medical staff in patient care.
• Under RN supervision, provide direct patient care and perform non-licensed procedures.
• May assist in directing unit environmental aide and perform clerical, stocking, and cleaning tasks as required.
