Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, seeks an Emergency Services Care Assistant/Unit Secretary to support ED nursing and staff under RN supervision. You will assist with direct patient care and non-licensure procedures, and help with clerical tasks and supply management.

This full-time role offers night hours (7pm–3am), weekend rotation, and a comprehensive benefits package. CNA/EMT/Paramedic credentials and CPR certification are required or expected for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Nursing/medical knowledge suitable for assisting ED staff under RN supervision.
• CPR certification required (American Heart Association).
• Assist in directing unit environmental aide, ensure supply availability, and perform clerical/stocking/cleaning tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Emergency Department and Treatment Center Nursing and Medical staff in the delivery of patient care.
• Under RN supervision, perform technical and medical procedures not governed by licensure.
• May assist in directing unit environmental aide to ensure supply availability or perform clerical, stocking, and cleaning functions as required.

Education

High school diploma (4 years)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Paramedic

Nursing student with six months clinical

Certified EMT with at least one year field experience

Emergency Department Technician with two years experience

CPR certification (American Heart Association)
