Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL seeks an Emergency Services Care Assistant/Unit Secretary for the Emergency Department. Full-time, 36 hours/week; schedule 7pm–3am, every other weekend.

Reporting to the ED Manager, you assist nursing and medical staff and provide direct patient care under RN supervision. Qualifications include high school diploma, CPR through the American Heart Association, and certifications such as CNA, Paramedic, EMT with field experience, or ED Technician with two

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: CNA, Paramedic, EMT with field experience, or ED Technician with 2+ years in a similar setting.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support ED and Treatment Center Nursing and Medical staff in patient care.
• Perform technical and medical procedures under RN supervision.
• Assist in directing unit environmental aide for supplies and perform clerical/stocking/cleaning tasks as needed.
